Husky House Child Care

Husky House Children's Center is committed to supporting the individual growth of the whole child. Through connection and collaboration, we nurture the development of responsible, independent, creative and thoughtful citizens. 

Daily, our team of teachers design and offer a variety of age-appropriate activities that support the varying aspects of children's development with a strong focus on fostering social-emotional skills.

TK & KINDERGARTEN CHILD CARE

• Our kindergarten program is built around thoughtfully designed developmentally-appropriate curriculum. Our "Husky Pups" have specific teachers who are experienced in early child development and provide an active-learning, center-based curriculum. focus on: self-management, citizenship

1ST THROUGH 5TH GRADE CHILD CARE

• Our program for older students ("Huskies") offers a balance of cognitive, creative and active choices. 
• Our teachers provide a wide variety of activities to help 1st through 3rd graders transition from early to middle childhood, explore the world around them and form their identity.
  focus on: self-awareness, empathy and relationship skills
• In addition to what we offer for the Huskies, our 4th grade and older attendees ("Top Dogs") are given privileges such as being youth mentors to our Pups, special activities and clubs that develop life skills. During Summer Camp, this group often has the opportunity to go on walking field trips.
  focus on: agency, responsible decision making, social-awareness
